Principal - John Mason



John Mason has degrees in Agricultural Science and Commerce. His career in the international grain trade began as Continental Grain Co's first Australian grain merchandising trainee. From a humble beginning buying grain from farmers in Queensland and New South Wales he rose rapidly to the position of Trading Manager for Australia and New Zealand. John moved to Continental's New York office and gained invaluable experience in the international trade of grains, oilseeds and grain legumes. He opened the Sydney office of Agrogrom SA. As Managing Director of Agroprom he was the marketing consultant to the Australian Wheat Board and other Australian Grain Marketing Boards. John founded Consolidated Grain in 1989 to develop Australian trade in the Asian and Sub Continent markets.
